Fitted bee winter cover kit

Fitted bee overwintering covers feature a fitted side wrap, with attached top and loose inner extra pillow of insulation. These fitted overwintering covers are similar to the Western winter wrap system but are designed to slip over the hive for quick and easy installation. This is easily installed by one person.

The Barn carries overwintering covers in the following configurations:

• Single hive, 1 storey (S1)
• Single hive, 2 storey (S2)
• Two hives, 2 storey (D2)
• Four hives, 2 storey (Q2)

These covers include upper entrance grommets so you can drill this in accurately allowing bees to exit on warm days.

NOTES:

• Fitted wraps are made to fit 10-frame wood Langstroth hives, but our customers have reported back that they do fit Hive IQ polystyrene hives and Beaver Plastics polystyrene hives (more snug).
• For the two and four hive wraps, you remove your outer covers (leaving your inner covers on) and then push your hives together tightly to wrap!
